About The Founder

Audra Gold is a technologist and digital product leader who has spent over 25 years building, launching and growing successful tech companies in digital media, ad tech, AR/VR, SaaS, ecommerce and online gaming. She has worked for or founded over a dozen startups at stages from pre-Series A to publicly traded, where she has been awarded patents and innovation awards while helping drive multiple successful exits.

After serving as Director of Digital for an Independent Presidential Campaign, Audra was recently named the Chief Digital Officer of MAHA Action, a 501-c4 that is promoting the Making America Healthy Again movement that was born out of the Unity ticket RFK Jr. inspired. For the RFK Jr. Independent Presidential campaign, she managed the Digital & Data teams, overseeing the most successful independent presidential campaign in US history. The campaign was run largely through social and other digital outlets due to the legacy media blackout of RFK Jr. Despite being outspent by the RNC and DNC candidates by over 100x, the campaign built a millions strong supporter base, a social media reach in the 100’s of millions, and a volunteer army 100k+ strong. The campaign also has the distinction of achieving the highest ballot signature count ever collected for a presidential candidate (over 1M). After being continually and relentlessly sued by the DNC to suppress the campaign’s efforts (draining millions in grassroots donations), RFK Jr. joined forces with the major political party that most closely aligned with RFK Jr.’s mission to improve the health of millions of Americans.

Previous to working on political initiatives, Audra was COO and Head of Product at a Virtual Health solutions startup UbiquityVX. There, she teamed up with leading virtual medicine scientists combined with bleeding edge WebXR technology to build a platform that delivers highly scalable mixed-reality and AI powered medical treatments in the Physical and Mental Health therapy space. UVX is currently continuing trials of these treatments and is expected to launch publicly in 2025.

Before then, In 2019, Audra co-founded Vurbl Media, a company she incubated at her consulting firm Product N. Over three and a half years, she conceived a platform to revolutionize the digital audio content space, raised over $4M in venture capital and built a 25+ member team that launched and grew to an audience of over 1M+ MAUs. Due to fundraising constraints in late 2022, Audra stepped down as CEO and handed control to the lead investors.

Years prior to Vurbl, in 2017, Audra launched a consulting company Product N as a joint-venture with Alpha Edison, an early stage venture capital firm based in LA. The mission of Product N is to help early stage start-ups with digital product management consulting services. Product N continues to help early stage venture-backed tech companies, and more recently political campaigns, develop product strategy and launch and grow digital products & services. The firm also provides strategic advisory services to start-ups in their early formation stages.

Some of Product N’s most notable clients include Tailspin, an XR-based corporate training services company, where Audra led the effort to evolve their bespoke VR experiences to a scalable SaaS offering which helped them raise a $40M series B. Another is Mutesix, where she helped build out custom analytics tools using media buying data and AI to build predictive pricing algorithms for media buyers. Mutesix was acquired by the Dentsu group. Girlgaze and The Riveter were also key clients, where Audra acted as interim Head of Product. Both of these companies used technology to advance women’s roles in the workplace in various capacities, positively impacting women’s progress in the corporate world.

Other roles Audra held through her career were predominantly at startups of various sizes. Her most recent exit was with the free streaming platform Pluto TV, where she was Head of Product pre-Series A through a B round. There she helped build, launch and grow the FAST streaming platform before it was acquired by Viacom. As one of the inventors of the platform, she is also named on the Pluto TV channel guide technology patent. Prior to that, she was Head of Product at Fourth Wall Studios, an interactive TV, VR/AR focused company, where she and the team were awarded a Primetime EMMY for Creative Achievement in Interactive Video just six months after launching (FWS was acquired by NantMobile). At NantMobile, under the leadership of Patrick Soon-Shiong, she contributed to major breakthroughs in Computer Vision and Machine Learning mobile tools for commerce and toys and helped author several patents in the space.

At the start of her career, Audra worked in various product leadership roles with: Vivendi Universal’s online gaming division, J2 Global’s business services SaaS division (now Consensus and ZiffDavis), video streaming and viral-video first-mover Break Media (a 1B+ MAU at peak), and the programmatic ad tech firm Magnite (formerly Rubicon Project), where she served as VP of Ad Marketplace.

Audra holds a BA in Mass Communication and International Studies from the University of Denver where she played on the NCAA Women’s Soccer team, skied for the freestyle club team, and held several leadership positions in clubs and organizations such as Delta Gamma and Model UN. She has also been involved in several Los Angeles based philanthropic initiatives and has sat on the board of several non-profits in the LA and Coachella Valley areas, focusing predominantly on children and women’s issues. Audra also dabbles in Real Estate investment and has operated and flipped many residential rental properties in the Los Angeles area. See her linkedin here.
