This policy explains what personal information Product N, Inc. ("Product N", "we", "us") collects through productn.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have kept it short because we collect very little: the site has no accounts, logins, payments, newsletter, analytics or advertising trackers.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, company (optional) and message you enter, along with the address of the page you sent it from and the time it was sent.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. We use this only to deliver and secure the site. When you submit the contact form, our form service also uses your IP address briefly to limit spam; it is held in memory and not stored.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly receive it unless you choose to include it in a message.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your message, and to follow up about the services you asked about.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Contact form and email
When you submit the contact form, your details are sent to our form service, which emails them to Product N's private inbox using a transactional email provider. The form includes a hidden field and a short timing check to filter out automated spam; neither identifies you. We use your email address to reply to you. We will not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or other tracking technologies. Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact third-party font or script providers when you visit. Because we do not track you across sites, we do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals; there is nothing to switch off. If this changes, we will update this policy before we add any such technology.
Sharing and service providers
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and reply to you, and only for those purposes:
- Render (website and form hosting, United States), which processes request data such as IP addresses and may keep server logs.
- Resend (transactional email, United States), which delivers contact form submissions to us.
- Google Workspace (email, United States), which hosts the inbox where we receive and answer your message.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The site links to third-party websites, such as press articles, publishers and podcasts. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
Data retention
We keep contact form messages and related email correspondence for up to one year after our last contact with you, or longer if needed for an ongoing business relationship or a legal obligation, and then delete them. Hosting logs are kept by our hosting provider for its standard log period. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner (see Your rights).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete it;
- object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw any consent you have given;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither).
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Some state privacy laws, including California's (CCPA/CPRA), apply only to businesses that meet certain size or data-volume thresholds; we honor the requests above whether or not a particular law applies to us.
California residents. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (name, email address, IP address), professional information (company) and the content of messages you send us, from you and your browser, for the purposes described above. We have disclosed these only to the service providers listed above, and we have not sold or shared them.
Visitors in the EU, UK and similar jurisdictions. We process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests in answering your inquiry and running a secure website, and to take steps you request before entering into a contract. Our service providers are in the United States, so your information is transferred there; where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make a significant change, such as adding analytics or a newsletter, we will make it clear on this page.
